Massachusetts Non-Compete Agreements
Non-compete agreements are common for those doing business and hiring employees, but Massachusetts has a new law going into effect on October 1 that you will need to know about whether you are a business owner or an employee. We felt that this information, even though the Keough + Sweeney areas of focus are DUI, divorce, personal injury, child support, and estate law, was important to pass along. This new law spells out everything you need to know, including under which circumstances and professions the non-compete agreement is prohibited.
